This is yet an other piece of my dog Tomi. This is an acrylic and oil piece I made off of a reference picture I took of her after a long day of playing with her new toy. I wanted to base the color scheme off of her collar and added flowers and the same background as I used for piece #5.

C5 Summary |
This is an acrylic piece of my dog Tomi being held by me. The original picture which I used for the reference picture had my mom holding her and not me but I decided to tweak it a bit to fit my concentration better. My two favorite things about this piece is the the accuracy proportions in her face and the background I chose.

This is an acrylic piece on an 11x14inch canvas which took place at Jordan lake and I got the reference pictures from my younger sister and free handed the rest. Jordan lake is one of my happy places full of memories and sentimental value. I wanted to do a landscape picture of Jordan lake for one of my pieces and I wanted to include all my pets including the deceased ones which you can find without shadows in the foreground.

This is a 12x12in Acrylic painting which takes place in my friend Sadie's house in this huge mirror that she had in her living room. I had to combine two different pictures to find the expressions I was looking for and I had to take to phone out of the picture and move my hand down so that you can see my whole face. I wanted this in my concentration because Sadie is another major part of my life she is one of the things that makes me who I am.

C2 Summary |
This is an acrylic piece I did on a 6x12in Grey toned painting panel. I wanted to only paint the one lane and create a new background and I chose a galaxy background. I did add a lame number to the place mat on the pavement. I didn't think that there was enough highlights and shadows in the water so I added a bunch and exaggerated them. Swimming is a huge part of my life so I decided to add a picture of me actually in a race to my concentration.

C1 Summary |
This concentration piece is a picture of my dad and I in my backyard and he is holding me over his shoulder. This piece is on tan toned paper with Paper Mate ball point pens. I layered 7 different colors by cross hatching to get the shades and values in the piece. At the same time I exaggerated the colors so that the changes throughout were more noticeable. This is one of the earliest pictures I have of myself so I decided that it would be the introduction to my concentration.
